| Rory's Recommendation - St. Croix is a sister seedling to Sabrevois, both vines have plenty of vigor on a normal site, and too much on a fertile site. I've been quite unimpressed with the wines made from these varieties, fruity without body or complexity. At most, I could only recommend these two grapes for blending with other wine grapes, or to someone who wants to grow grapes on a very difficult site where other varieties fail to grow.
